An Expressiveness Hierarchy of Behavior Trees and Related Architectures

چکیده
In this letter, we provide a formal framework for comparing the expressive power of Behavior Trees (BTs) to other action selection architectures. Taking inspiration from analogous comparisons structural programming methodologies, formalise concept `expressiveness'. This leads us an expressiveness hierarchy control architectures, which includes BTs, Decision (DTs), Teleo-reactive Programs (TRs) and Finite State Machines (FSMs). By distinguishing between BTs with auxiliary variables those without, demonstrate existence trade-off in BT design readability expressiveness. We discuss what means practice.

15 صفحه اولthe evaluation of language related engagment and task related engagment with the purpose of investigating the effect of metatalk and task typology
abstract while task-based instruction is considered as the most effective way to learn a language in the related literature, it is oversimplified on various grounds. different variables may affect how students are engaged with not only the language but also with the task itself. the present study was conducted to investigate language and task related engagement on the basis of the task typolog...
15 صفحه اولA note on an expressiveness hierarchy for multi-exit iteration
Multi-exit iteration is a generalization of the standard binary Kleene star operation that allows for the specification of agents that, up to bisimulation equivalence, are solutions of systems of recursion equations of the form X1 def = P1X2 + Q1 .. Xn def = PnX1 + Qn where n is a positive integer, and the Pi and the Qi are process terms. The addition of multi-exit iteration to Basic Process Al...
متن کاملA Hierarchy of Modal Event Calculi: Expressiveness and Complexity
We consider a hierarchy of modal event calculi to represent and reason about partially ordered events. These calculi are based on the model of time and change of Kowalski and Sergot’s Event Calculus (EC ): given a set of event occurrences, EC allows the derivation of the maximal validity intervals (MVIs) over which properties initiated or terminated by those events hold. The formalisms we analy...
متن کاملdevelopment and implementation of an optimized control strategy for induction machine in an electric vehicle
in the area of automotive engineering there is a tendency to more electrification of power train. in this work control of an induction machine for the application of electric vehicle is investigated. through the changing operating point of the machine, adapting the rotor magnetization current seems to be useful to increase the machines efficiency. in the literature there are many approaches wh...
